Razan is a Palestinian writer and director based in Scotland. She holds an MA in Film Directing from the UK.

In 2021, she wrote and directed Go Home, a short film funded by Screen Scotland and BFI Network. The film screened at 25 festivals across 10 countries, including LSFF, GSFF, British Shorts, and Dinard.

Additionally, she was part of the Edinburgh International Film Festival Talent Lab and the BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew mentoring programme in 2021, where she was mentored by TV director Dawn Shadforth.

Razan gained industry experience as a shadowing director on I Hate Suzie Too (Sky TV, 2022), Trespasses (Channel 4, 2024), and Half Man (BBC and Screen Scotland, 2025).

In 2024, she wrote and directed The Nobody with NFTS, funded by Amazon Prime Video. The film screened at BFI London Film Festival, Aesthetica, Bolton, Sunrise, and several others.

Razan has her debut feature, The Good Spirit, in development with Doha Film Institute.
